URL in Workitem Description

Hello
   Within R/3 4.6c I cannot seem to create a URL link in the Workitem
   description.
   If any of you have been able to successfully provide a URL link in a
   Workitem Desscription within R/3 4.6c could you please share any special
   tags etc you may have used ?
