Hiding attachments in UWL

Greetings WUGers,
 
On SBWP, you see in the preview pane the object in question that appears
as a link that you can click on (which usually ends up being the Display
method of the object).
 
In the case of the UWL, we hid the preview section so no problem there.
However, when viewing the Completed Task view, the user sees an
Attachment section with a hotlink. Where the object is an employee, the
hotlink takes them to PA20 (Display HR master data). Authorization stops
them but so many users are calling the help desk it's driving us nuts.
 
Can we hide this in R/3 so nothing appears under Attachments? I've also
looked at the iView attributes but nothing seems do the job.
 
I guess our last resort are the XML files but I'm hoping that someone
has come across this before.
