Transport of workflows (WS) backwards from 640 to 4.6C?

Dear Workflowers,

we have developed a workflow in ECC 5.0 (640) which we have tried to 
transport to a 4.6C system.  (Transports from 4.6C to 5.0 works fine)

The error messages we receive in STMS are described below.
The wf ID and the basic data tab strip are created correctly, but the wf 
definition as well as the wf container are empty.

Is there any way to perform a transport from 5.0 to 4.6C ?
