Attachment Modification

Jeff,

You can use the 'Document from Template' functionality supplied in standard
Workflow (see insertable step types).  After you have configured correctly,
the first executed work item will bring up a Word document (as an example)
with fields pre-populated.  Changes are made and the document saved, routed
to the next agent, more changes made and so on.

With newer releases (I believe 6.40) of SAP you can use SAP/Adobe
Interactive Forms for modifiable PDF documents.

SWUG'ers,

   Is there a way for the User to bring up the attachment (Word, Excel,
PDF, etc) to their work item, modify it and then have it automatically
saved in the work item, without the User having to save it to their desktop
as a new file & then attaching the new file to the work item as a 2nd
attachment?
