Retreive previous workitem

Look at function module SWI_WF_CONNECTIONS_DISPLAY which displays the
workflow overview screen when you look at workflows for a document using
generic object services.

There's a function module within this one that will return the data by
object key.

Problem is that this is an existing workflow where we have to create a
report for, so no adjustments to the workflow...

Depending upon the information required.. Would it be possible to simply
bind the information out to an element in the workflow container which
can then be bound into the following step as an import parameter to the
report?  Or is this too simplistic for your needs?
