Trouble with response on WebActivity

Hi all,

i am implementing a wf scenario which is supposed to link 2 6.40 systems.
The first step is a source workflow setting some container attributes and
then starting a workflow on the target system by executing a web activity.

So far so good. The workflow starts, gets to the web activity and the
wokflow on the target system is started and executed.

But there it ends. The SWXML on the target system shows that the WF-BATCH on
the system created another request to inform the source, which is waiting
for response, that the target workflow has been executed. But the source
system seem to never get this xml, it is not in its SWXML and there is no
status for the document in the system of the target workflow. As a result
the source workflow won't move on.

The documentation within the wf builder says that i have to specify the user
under which the target system responds to the source system so the wf
reacts. but how to do this i can give a user but no password for
authorisation and the target system seems to be only able to send the xml
with wf-batch as user - without providing the passwort anywhere this can't
work as it's password should be system dependent.

I can't get what i am doing wrong or at least what i am supposed to do. Can
anyone provide some hints / ideas?

Thanks in advance
