For those still choking with Email box size issues...,
And using Exchange server/Outlook.

You can set Exchange server to drop any emails with huge appendages
and just send an email to the recipient.

Indeed if you actually received the Email...
( I didnt, due to server config, I just get to see the amusing flame
mail).
then you might ask the mail admin to implement something to avoid such
issues in the future.

Even from Outlook client rules creation tool you can add a rule based on
size, that uses the
"have server send reply" (imagine a big fat 4 mb bmp here with the rules
wiazrd...)
and you enter a default response.
This should register a server side rule for you.

Subject: SAP-WUG Message Size

Hello WFers,

Since there was some difficulty experienced by a recent posting due to
the size of the message, the message size limit has been set to 5.2MB.
If anyone has a case where this size is insufficient, please feel free
to discuss on the list... I have no problem bumping the size up again,
but also don't our 'road warriors' to stop checking the list due to
overlong messages.

Just trying to serve the community,
Best regards,
Sue
