Triggering events

Hi Gerda,

You say the event CREATED for BUS1505 does not /seem/ to get published.
Do you see the event in the Event Log (TX SWEL) ? Is the event log
turned on ? (In Dev or QA only, of course). You can also make an entry
in the Event Linkage table via SWE2, with your username as the Receiver
Type and SWE_EVENT_MAIL in the Check Function. This will send you a SAP
Office message when the event is triggered. Try that out and see if you
get any joy from your BUS1505 event.

Re: Question 2, I would wonder when the events stopped working... Things
*usually* don't stop working for no reason. What date was the last time
the ABSENCE events were working ? Who did what on the system at that
time ? Of course, the tips above might also help.

A lot of folks will squawk about turning on the Event Log, but I've
found it to be very useful in R/3 environments. Wish I still had it in
SRM !

Good luck,
Sue
