modelled Deadline R3 4.7

Hi John,
When you execute the decision you complete the step, thus no more
deadline. You can put a new deadline on the subwf step, or a step within
the subwf.

Alternatively to apply a single deadline to a series of steps you can
wither put everything into a subflow with a deadline (including a
subsubflow), or create a fork: one leg has your normal process, the other
a simple wait step (blank method) with a requested start of your deadline.
Once the req start is reached, it will continue down the deadline branch.

Cheers,
Mike
