UWL Backend RFC sessions

We had the same problem a while back. It was a J2EE setting in the
Portal that fixed it.
However, our Portal guy is off so I don't know exactly what he did. 

Looking at some of my emails, I believe the following customer message,
0000603934 2006, detailed what he had to do.

Hi 

I am using the UWL connecting to R/3 and SRM to get
workflow items.

On strange problem I am facing is its creating backend
RFC sessions which it does not close.Is there a
setting in UWL or anywhere else where we can set any
timeout settings or is this a knowbug ?

Any input would be appreaciated.
