Portal Upgrade and UWL

Hi,
     We are running EP6 with SP12 and have been experiencing a number of
issues in the UWL.  We sometimes lose the UWL connection and are having
issues with forms opening up with cached data from older forms when
using webservices (they open fine when launched from SWIA).  OSS has not
yielded a solution yet and we are interested in knowing if anyone has
experienced these issues and/or if upgrading will solve any of them.
