FW: Role resolution using responsibilities

Hi All,
 Inn relation to role using responsibilities, another doubt is how to
change the validity once assigned to particular agent for a
responsibility?
e.g. For an agent assigned to a responsibility for a period of
01.01.2006 to 31.12.2006 , I am not able to change the validity to say
31.12.2007.

Pls. suggest is there any other way to extend this validity of assigned
agent for a responsibility?
