method to start web-dynpro

Shai,

You need to modify the xml file delivered with UWL to call your application when the task is executed. I have attached a document on how to customize the UWL. Have a look at section 5.3, which explains how to configure the UWL to launch a custom iView for a given task.

Subject: method to start web-dynpro

Hi,

My workflow is triggered from web application (java based) of SAP Portal via function module. A task is created and appears in UWL. I wish that the task execution will open another web application (web-dynpro). Therefore, I created my business object a new method. However I do not know how to start the web application.

Any information as well as reference to relevant documentation will be highly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Shai Eyal.

Problem solved on this one. The logon settings for the shortcut service
in SICF were missing !!

Some extra info on this......in the subscription settings if I set the
parameter SHOW_ACTION_EXECUTE_AS as ATTACH1 and not LINK2 so that the
execute work item function appears as a shortcut attachment rather than
an HTTP link then it works !! Also have to set the assigned message
template to 1 (One Message per Notification).

But when i use the LINK2 parameter in SHOW_ACTION_EXECUTE_AS and the
assigned template as N (One Message Contains Multiple Notifications)
then the URL in the mail tries to execute the work item in client 000 !!
Might be time for an OSS message me thinks.

Cheers
Dave

Hi folks,

I have configured SWNCONFIG and run the abap SWN_SELSEN on a 6.40 basis
support pack 13 box to send mails to people informing them they have a
work item to process.

When they select the sap shortcut link in the mail to execute the work
item they are prompted to logon, but always to client 000 not my client.

I have looked at the workflow/shortcut services in SICF and set the
logon client but to no avail. Anyone had the same problem ? Or tell me
where to look for clues ? No OSS notes were found in the making of this
issue !!

Cheers
Dave

Hi,

Has anyone experienced problems in data-binding using Forms tasks. We've defined a structure and two forms using screen painter, one for changing data and one for displaying data. We also have a start form to fill data in structure.

Our problem is that structure in workflow container is changed and displayed correctly, so workflow seems to work fine but when I try to use data in workflow container with another task (i.e. email task) I always see data unchanged (data as shown in start form).

Has anyone solve this issue? What are we doing wrong? We've reviwed data binding and everything seems to be ok.

Thanks in advance.
Dami?n

Hello WF-ers,

While debugging in SRM 5.0, WAS 700, to determine if an event is raised...

If you use standard functionality to send an SAPOffice message to your userid when an event is
created (see attachment), unless your username begins with a letter greater than W (for 'WS'), your
username will be returned as the first row in table lt_start_receivers after the following calls...

BBP_PDH_WFL_CHECK_BEFORE_START
SWE_BBP_EVENT_SIMULATE

SWB_2_CHECK_FB_START_COND_EVAL
SWB_COND_EVAL

Back in BBP_PDH_WFL_CHECK_BEFORE_START...
   IF sy-subrc <> 0.
* Kein Genehmigung-Workflow gefunden; Systemverwaltung informieren
     MESSAGE s012(bbp_wfl) RAISING no_workflow_found.
*    RETURN.
   ENDIF.

   READ TABLE lt_start_receivers WITH KEY wf_task = 'X'.
   IF sy-subrc <> 0.
* Kein Genehmigung-Workflow gefunden; Systemverwaltung informieren
     MESSAGE s012(bbp_wfl) RAISING no_workflow_found.
*    RETURN.
   ELSE.
     IF sy-tfill > 1.
* Genehmigung-Workflow ist nicht eindeutig; Systemverwaltung informieren
       MESSAGE s013(bbp_wfl) RAISING workflow_not_unique.
*      RETURN.
     ENDIF.
   ENDIF.

   ev_cond_task = lt_start_receivers-rectype.
   gv_wf_start_cond_task = lt_start_receivers-rectype.

At the point where the read table lt_start_receivers is executed, the row with the workflow template
which should be started is, in my case, the second row. Therefore, when sy-tfill is evaluated, it
is equal to 2, which causes the 'workflow_not_unique' to be raised.

A Customer Message has been raised, but I wanted to help any of you prevent needless heartache.
Regards,
Sue

Hello Nash,
Please search previous issue - I've already answered this question. In short, you have three possibilities (I could think of):
a. use event BUS2032.CHANGED.
b. Check change document (CDHDR & CDPOS) with object VERKBELEG.
c. On program MV45AFZZ use USEREXIT_SAVE_DOCUMENT, check price change and start your workflow with fm SAP_WAPI_START_WORKFLOW.

Good luck,

Shai E.
