Thanks Thomas, yeah I tried to remove the default method but it is
mandatory and didn't want to affect other processes that need that
default.

Cheers

Dave,

One approach is to remove the default method of display from the
Business Object. You must create a subtype and delegate it (probably
done already) before removing the default. This will eliminate the link
from the SAPGUI as well as the UWL.

In newer releases you can not remove the default method because it
requires an entry. What I have done for HR applications is to create a
simple method and make this the default method. The method can do
anything you want such as state - Please execute this work item.
Problem with this is you still have an attachment.

Hi folks,

I have been asked if it is possible to remove the attachment link in a
work item displayed in the UWL put there by the default method. They
want to keep all other attachments but not display the attachment caused
by the default method in the BOR object.

I have had a look at the UWL config in the SAP help and OSS notes but
found nothing that relates specifically to this request. I have seen you
can remove common actions by changing the 'Actions to exclude from the
UWL'
property in the XML config files but this doesn't look relevant.

If anyone has done this before or knows the answer then I would be ever
so grateful.

Cheers
Dave
