Sending mails to outlook from workflow messages

Hi Tim,
Sendmail is a widely used mail program on unix/linux systems. But I think
this is not what you're after. Sapconnect is the mail subsystem, which in
turn is configured to talk to a mail server which could be sendmail or
postfix running on the local machine or even a MS Exchange or Notes server
elsewhere.

In what context did they mention this? A mail step in WF is often referred
to as a sendmail step, which would be something completely different. Or
perhaps we are talking about notifications telling users that they have
items in their inbox - look at report RSWUWFML2.

Cheers
Mike
