Sue,
We have occasionally experieced workflows "freezing" for no apparent
reason since moving from 4.6C to ECC5.0.  However, ours do not
"unfreeze".  Unfortunately we cannot "recreate" the instances to be able
to open an OSS request.  Fortunately for us it happens so infrequently
that we have been able to ignore it.  I will be anxious to see the
solution for your delay to see if it might help us as well.

We are on 4.7, SAP Basis 6.20, Support Pack 58

 

We have a workflow user decision (Select Applicant) that is delayed
occasionally.  Each time it happens, I've noticed that the log (see
below) contains an entry for SWW_WI_ADMIN_CALLBACK that executes for 10
to 15 minutes before the next step (PROCESS APPLICANT) of the workflow
appears in the user's in-box.  This does not happen all the time, only
occasionally.

We have searched SAP help, the SAP Workflow Management book and Google
and cannot find anything on SWW_WI_ADMIN_CALLBACK.    Has anyone ever
had this happen or can anyone tell us what it happening?
