Making the actual agents the same as the possible agents

We are on 4.6C - and I think this is what I have done - I probably did not make it clear that I assigned the rôle in the task (i.e. display the task, go to agent assignment / maintain and then create a rôle attached to that task). This, however, only sets the possible agents, and as we are used to looking at the actual agents only, I would like to be able to make these actual agents at run time.

It does seem from Mark's reply that this is not necessary - and I think we will ensure that our workflow people are made aware that this step does not have actual agents.

Thank you Mark and Ramki for your replies

With Best Wishes

Hi Adrain,

What release are you on? Can you not assign the Role (AG) to the step in the WF definition?

Best Regards,
Ramki Maley.

Dear All,

We have a task that we need to go to all agents that have a particular SAP
security rôle. By maintaining the agent assignment, we are able to make the
possible agents equal to all agents who are assigned to the security rôle.

Fine so far....and it works to a fashion, as if there are no actual agents it
defaults to all the possible agents....however this is not good practice.

But we can not work out how we can make the actual agents the same list as the
possible agents. Am I missing a trick here?

All help gladly received
