Making the actual agents the same as the possible agents

Dear All,

We have a task that we need to go to all agents that have a particular SAP security rôle. By maintaining the agent assignment, we are able to make the possible agents equal to all agents who are assigned to the security rôle.

Fine so far....and it works to a fashion, as if there are no actual agents it defaults to all the possible agents....however this is not good practice.

But we can not work out how we can make the actual agents the same list as the possible agents. Am I missing a trick here?
