Workflow Certification Exam Guidelines

Paul,
I am a little late in replying, but I have attended the course, sat for
and passed the exam. (I had 2 years experience when I passed the exam.
There were 2 of us out of 8 in the workshop that passed.) As others
have remarked, the certification based upon that test does not indicate
any ability to design and build a good solid workflow. What I feel that
it did test was the individual's knowledge of what workflow has to offer
a company, it's capabilities. It would be a great indicator of
potential applicants for a sales position with a consulting firm pushing
their workflow services. For me it was beneficial as it helped my
company's competency center to become SAP certified, and added to my
resume. Personally I would like to see SAP offer an "advanced"
developer's class for workflow, it would be much more useful.
Best of Luck,
Sherie

Listing the actual exam questions is forbidden, but discussing the
Workflow Certification in general is not (I hope!).

I'm trying to decide whether to do the certification exam, and if so,
how to prepare for it.

If passing the exam simply requires memorizing minutiae from the course
books (as suggested in another post), then I wouldn't bother. I'm paying
for it myself, after all! I would also question the value of this
certification as a 'screening tool'
when hiring contractors.

Can we please hear some comments from people who have actually sat &
passed the exam?
- was it a fair test of theoretical and practical knowledge?
- would you do it all over again?

cheers & beers
Paul
