Requested Start issue

There will an RFC under wf-batch with status text 'Work Item nnnnnnnnnnn
cannot be read' for the work item in question which when executed will
move the work item on. The problem occurs when a requested start
deadline expires before the work item is executed. Try extending the
requested start deadline.

Sometimes a background work item gets stuck. There is an OSS Note -
unless you are already on a high Service Pack number.
Don't remember the number, but try searching for work item, WAITING,
things like that.

Hi Manish,

You will have to make sure that the deadline monitoring jobs are
running.
You can do this via menu path (I am on 4.6C)
Tools
-> Business Workflow
-> Administration
-> Work Item Deadline Monitoring

There are 3 transaction here, the first (RSWEWWDHSHOW) is to display the
deadline monitoring jobs the second (SWWB) is to schedule these jobs and
the last (SWWA) is to configure the deadline monitoring jobs.

Requested Start issue	

Hi,

A task in the PO workflow that is responsible to release the PO in
background has a requested start of "2 min" with respect to "work item
created time". However on few occasions this background step got stuck
with status "Waiting".

Any ideas what could be the problem.
