Carlos,

 

You can also configure Status Management to publish an event when a
milestone is reached. Business object MLST_NEW can be used but it doesn't
have any useful methods. You can extend it, delegate and add your own
methods.

Carlos,

   There's probably a few ways to handle this, one of the easier I would
guess is in each Step there is a Notification tab where you can send Users a
message from the Completion of the Step. You could implement this in some of
your Milestone Steps.
