SAP Business workplace - out of office setting

If it is just like in MS Outlook WF-BATCH will receive an out of
office-message. There will be no forwarding.

Substitution is what you are asking for, except you don't want your
users to have to look in the inbox for the substituted person. One
option is to not use SAP standard substitution and instead use e.g. HR
relationships for substitutes and replace the recipient with the
substitute whenever that is fitting. Unless you have other reasons for
doing this (e.g. you are not using SAP Business Workplace) I would not
recommend it. Disadvantage: work items stay in substitute's inbox after
substitution ends.

Thanks Jeff, I appreciate your reply of using trx code so12. I tried it
earlier using the substitute option there. But, it will be great, if
anyone could tell us, whether we can set the 'out-of-office' option,
just like in MS Outlook. So, that I can send the workitem to the
secondary approver directly.

Thanks
Bala
