Do you mean SWU3?
That is where you maintain workflow settings and activities for that
system. It is client dependant so you will need to apply settings
specific to each client that you have.
Running the automatic customize will set the defaults as specified by
SAP. You should have a green tick for each activity (recommended)
however, some settings are not mandatory and you can get away without
setting some activities. Once the workflow customizing has been setup,
you should not really have to make any further changes. In saying that,
there are some activities where you may change once in a while - ie.
Maintenance of the Workflow Administrator or Monitoring jobs for missed
deadlines (however, this can be corrected through SWWA).
I hope that gives you some idea.
