Thanks for your input.
I don't think I'll be creating another subtype now.
I'll stick with ZBUS1006 and develop this further.

Unless.... you changed your delegation from:
BUS1006 > ZBUS1006
to:
BUS1006 > ZZBUS1006

But this is just as pointless as now you wouldn't be using ZBUS1006.

I know it gets messy but sometimes you just need to have zNewMethod and
zNewMethodv2 etc so that you can keep your developments separate.
Can be really frustrating when you bring in a new company code that
wants basically the same as what in place, but just not quite. It's too
expensive to design truly future proof developments and so you do end up
with potentially less than elegant solutions once you've rolled out a
number of times.
