Outlook/Lotus Notes and SAP Workplace

Dear all workflow expert.
I want to know whether when work item executed from
any third party e-mail such as Outlook/Lotus Notes,
the notification in those third party e-mail move from
inbox folder? How about in SAP Business Workplace?
Does the notification move to folder outbox as well?
Even it doesn't executed from SAP Business Workplace?
