ESS Time Approval Task

I have an issue in production. 
I have a manager who is getting his time approved by himself and 
I have no log of this approval task ever executing. 
 
I can only assume he has authorizations for some t-code. 
Security says he does not have auths to CATS but 
I have no idea how he approving his own time outside of WF. 
What other t-code(s) could this user possible have to allow 
him to approve his own time outside of Time Approval Task?
