Ways to trigger WF for purchase requisitions

We needed the ability to direct the requisition to the correct approver
based on cost center and dollar amount. We used the standard tasks and
BUS2105 created event but added two custom tables to store data for approver
position, cost center and $$ level. I think there was also some custom code
in user-exits in the transactions that create requisitions so that the
header release strategy got the proper approvers.

Hi Tom, it can also depend on your requisition release strategy.  In our 
case we are using a header release strategy so we used the provided 
business object BUS2105 for our trigger.

We are planning to implement a workflow for purchase requisitions and 
currently we are evaluating the options of 'how to start the workflow - 
best practice' (i.e. Change Documents, Message Control, BTEs, etc.). 

Could anybody contribute his/her experience?
