transaction SWO_ASYNC

Hello Wfworld,
We are on 4.6B.

One decision-step has defined 2 secondary methods 
- to display scanned images from the archive (object BKPF,method:
ARCHIVEDDOCSDISPLAY )
- to display a parked document                            (object BKPF 
method:DISPLAY)
Problem: no secondary method starts!

The "missing authorization report ,txn SU53" shows a "no authorization for 
transaction SWO_ASYNC".

Just to be sure: Is this the cause that the secondary methods don't start 
at all?
( a scan over all activity groups showed me that txn SWO_ASYN is not used 
even in SAP own activity groups...).
