Usage of Text Symbols in Select Querys and Work Flow

 Hi Kesari,
Please always reply via the SAP-WUG so everyone gets the info.

SY-REPID holds the current main program. If your program is in a call
chain, then it may be a higher level program in there. You can usually
see this behaviour in debug.

The other thing to watch with text elements of course is language - if
you are running in a different language the texts may not have been
converted.

Hi Jocelyn,

Thank you so much for your reply, It really made me to learn a new
point.

But, the select query was working fine from BOR level.. then also ,
there is a possibility of sy-repid getting over ridden,..?

What exactly is being written into sy-repid..? is it the program name
of BOR or some thing other..?

Thanks and regards
Kesari.
