Deleting work items in production

Hi, Kesari,
 
  Is there a FM to do this? Can you tell what is it? The only place I know is from the menu, however, the option of 'delete logically' is greyed out from the menu.

Why dont you look at "logically deleting " the work items using the
function module..? this would be better for audit /reporting
