Workflow functionality on ECC-5.0

Good day to everyone!
 
We are on the verge of upgrading to ECC - 5.0 w/ an industry solution;
ECC-DIMP.
 
My three questions are general ones:    
 
1)  For those who are in the process and/or already upgraded, what workflow
issues (major) 
     did you run into . . . when upgrading from a 4.5B or 4.6C release?
 
2)  Were any of them critical in your view to the implementation effort?
 
3)  What would or could you have done differently to have minimized the
impact?
