Messages and Expiry Date

I am creating messages from WF and sending to users. 
I just noticed that the "Expiry Date" is not being set. 
 
If I create a document from within the Inbox and just send to myself 
I see the Expiry Date set to today + 90 as expected. 
 
Question is, how do I get this date in messages generated from a WF
task?
