workflow buffer

how can clean the workflow buffur and Organizational
buffers. di I need to do any thing after clearing the
buffers. will it effect any thing else, bcz I want to
do it in production. bcz my work flow is behaving
differently in production then in development.

can any one tell me what I have to do to overcome this
problem.
