UWL Work Item link in outlook email

Hi
we had the same situation, but I have dropped the idea of directly
executing the work Item.
although we have a link of the portal and made the UWL screen as the home
page, Hence when the user clicks the link from Email it takes to portal
login page upon which it takes to UWL page showing all work items.
I dont certainly omit the option of directly bringing the user to his work
item level as it needs lot customization in the UWL PAR.
