No simulate option for asynchronous rules in PFAC

Hi folks,
 
When creating a rule based on an asynchronous function (class method) there is no simulate option available in 4.7 basis 6.20.
 
Was wondering if anyone had used rules based on an asynchronous function and if so how did they test them other than by trial and error in the workflow.
