Universal Worklist (UWL) or 'Universal Inbox'

Krishna,

Thank you for your reply. I may be mistaken, but it seems similar to our work around. We have created a web GUI Iview on the Portal for Tcode SWBP (Workplace Inbox). The problem is that it can only be linked to one instance. For every other instance, this would have to be repeated.

Are you saying that you know of a way to consolidate all of our Workplace Inbox instances into a single Iview?

Best regards,

Hi Tim,

This is one good requirment,
I have been thinking about this and found one solution.

1) Create an SAP GUI for Windows iview in portal which will display all the SAP Inbox
2) Add a custom button to the Universal Worklist template say "View SAP Inbox".
3) Link the button to the Iview created.

you got your self an SAP Inbox in Universal Worklist.

All,

Through the Portal, we have the UWL to present our centralized worklists.
Does anyone know if there is a 'Universal Inbox' that serves as a centralized inbox for internal mail notifications?
Or of a way to configure the UWL to also serve up the internal mail notifications also?

We have internal mail notifications triggered from our Workflows in several different systems. We need a centralized view of all of the internal mail notifications similar to the UWL. We have asked if the Notifications tab in the UWL could be used to centralize these messages, but it was returned that this functionality is not currently supported in the UWL.

Our work around is to have the Business Workplace (SBWP) as a link below the Universal Worklist on our Portal navigation bar. The issue is that with many different systems, there will need to be several different links required to direct the user to the each Business Workplace.

Any thoughts?

Best,
