error replacing symbols in text

Hi All,

 

I have a funny thing happening. I have a step that sends an e-mail using
SELFITEM SENDTASKDESCRIPTION... The task description does not contain any
text symbols. The only thing is that I only have an English description.
When ever the user is logged in French and start the workflow, I get the
error: <error replacing symbols in text>. I thought that the system would
take the English version or nothing but not an error?!?!?!

 

Does any one have an idea?
