Hello David

Have you also set the agents for the workflow task WS20000081 itself to
general task?

Regards
Helena

Subject: USER_CANNOT_START_TASK

I am trying to trigger the ESS Leave Request Workflow and I am getting
the message "You are not one of the possible agents of the task". I have
also tried running the same transaction (WS20000081) in the SAP GUI and
the same message appears.

I have set all agent tasks to General Assignment but have since found
that the workflow isn't actually starting at all.
I have also assigned the role SAP_ESSUSER to users profiles which is
what I believe is required for this workflow.

I have tracked this error down to the fcn mod RH_TASK_START_CHECK which
returns exception USER_CANNOT_START_TASK.

Has anyone come across this problem before and know what the solution is
?

Many Thanks
David
