Changes in workflow in active proces

Hello group!

 

Perhaps this question can be found in documentation or on the web, but I
can't find it... sorry...

 

Everybody has had this situation. A workflow is live but a change is
made to the workflow (same version) because of an error or new
functionality.

When the changed workflow is transported, the change is not used in the
active workflow but only in the new (still to start) workflows.

 

Is there a way that the change is used in the current active
workflow(s)?
