Cannot bind BOR attributes of classes to BOR Elements

maybe out 2 issues are slightly different. I never get the error during activation, only when editing the binding for that step....

Hehe, yep I just went through the same hoops. It gets very painful when
you have to do the debug hack every time you activate the flow.

HOWEVER, I just found the answer, almost as nasty:
It has to be a SIBFLPORB, not SWOTOBJID, and has to be a constant
attribute of a class. Use a type group (yep, first time I've heard of
them) to populate it with the initial values of BO and your object type
(BUS9999). The bonus is that the binding editor understands it and you can
drill down from class to class through to the BO's attributes. Have a look
at cl_swf_bor_types on a 640 system for an example

Last remaining hurdle is creating a class-type attribute of a BO, but I
suspect that's not happening.
