SRM Badi N-step

Well that's true - all parallel approvals at the same level must be
completed before you can move to the next level.
But that is how the parallel functionality works.

Hi All:

Miguel is correct. I submitted OSS messages to SAP, on this issue, for
my last client. SAP's response was that it was working as designed.
Also, due to the links to the Approval Applet, you can not change the
SRM BADI Approval WF's to dynamic parallel processing. This was an
issue because the SRM Approval WF's, were held up at one level, until
all of the approvals at that level were completed.

I hope this helps.

Thanks,

	Hello,

I have never seen something out-of-the-box using parallel
branch.
When you debug the process, after the! BADI processing, SRM does
things with
the branch index but I think this is used for the line items
display in the
	approval applet.

	Cheers,

	Hello all,

Can anyone verify that the N-step BAdi (BBP_WFL_APPROV), used in
conjunction
	with the SAP-delivered
Shopping Cart Approval W! orkflows (WS14000133, WS14000134) will
allow you to
	accomodate parallel
approval branches ? The BAdi allows you to set
'Approval_Branch', but I see
	nothing in the actual
approval task to deal with dynamic parallel table processing. Of
course,
	this would be easy enough
to implement... I just wondered if the functionality was there
'out of the
	box'.

	Thanks
	Sue
