Regarding SAP HR and Workflow

Vijay,
We use workflow for many of our HR transactions (New Hire notifications,
Transfers, Position and Employee changes, Terminations, etc).  Most of
these are custom workflows with start transactions as they are specific
to our HR processes.  Only two of our workflows are SAP "standard"
initiated from ESS .. Employment verification and Address changes.
Additionally we recently connected the MSS Portal and have customized
those workflows as well.  The possibilities are endless once you have
extended the BOT's Employeet and PDOTYPE_S.

Lately I had been hearing a lot about SAP HR and its associated work
processes.
If I'm right, the system ESS runs on R/3 workflows(correct me if I'm
wrong).
Can anyone provide me the links to SAP help fr the same, or any posts on
WUG that can give some info. regarding ESS and Workflows for HR. I
searched a lot, couldn't find any.
