Condense text in the SAP mail

Hi Vijay,
You can try, but the size of the attribute will depend on the data type
not the method of entry,
i.e. if you use a decimal attribute with output length 23 then you'll
get 23 characters as
a decimal field is always right-justified. The solution is to specify
the attribute in a
character, i.e. left-justified, format.

Hi,

So it has to be done at the time when I pass the parameter...
Isn't there anyway to do it in the workflow step itself. I'll condense
it
and pass in that case.
Why I wanted to know was, I was using SWUE to simulate the event and
passing
parameters there.
I couldn't condense it there and it was taking the whole space. However
in a
typical scenario,
I would be passing the variables from the program using WAPI FM. I'll
condense it there.

Thanks,
Vijay
