Object requested is currently locked by user WF-BATCH - questions 4.6c

Requested Start was met but the task could not complete
due to a lock and nothing for Latest End. That makes sense.

What have you found works for Latest End deadline on your HR wfs?
A minutes, hours, day(s), ...?

It is an intermittent issue. I have only seen it in dev so we will note
this and
make changes if it is a problem in production.

Thanks!

The execution has started, so you will not get any deadline action
unless you also define a latest end deadline.

One of the workflows we have problems with is also having problems with
locked HR objects.

I don't know which tables holds the deadline information, but it
shouldn't be too difficult to find. The name(s) probably start with
SWW.

Deadline is on the Requested Start.
The task is calling a method in obj BUS7051 (Notification obj).
Right now I am assuming it was caused by a locked HR object.
No dumps and nothing I can see that is causing the issue.

I have some tasks still sitting "inProcess" status.
I know we have no current locks on the objects in questions.
I can only assume the entries were removed from the table
that holds this information on deadline monitoring.

Any idea what table holds this information for deadline monitoring?

Thanks!

Is your deadline on latest end? Not that I really think it matters
much... we have similar problems. One possible problem is insufficient
error checking in the code, i.e. a short dump occurs. Another
possibility is deadlock problems which are not detected in the code, so
it tries but can't perform updates. I can't recall if that causes short
dumps in our system.

I have a Task with a Deadline timer that gets stuck inprocess
sometimes.
I looked at SM58 and ST22 and don't see any issues.
I manually set these to Ready and the WF continued executing.

I have Deadline monitoring running every 3 minutes (in Dev client).
Not sure why these Tasks were stuck or why they did not get picked
up eventually by RSWWDHEX.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks!
