Please don't raise new issues under old headings.

Suggest you read the SAP library help doco relevant for the org plan and
check for any workflows linked to events based business object
pdotype_s.

The existence of a business object does not guarantee the existence of a
workflow.

The existence of a workflow does not guarantee the use of a workflow -
e.g. you may need to do some configuration to turn it on.

Please read the help.

Hello,

I am trying to do a workflow when a new Position is created in HR.
That should be relatively simple. There is a task called pdotype_s but
it
works only if I use the workflow test. It does not do anything, if I use
the
transaction pp01 to create a position, I even go so far that I create a
relationship but it does not create a workflow.

Do I have to write my own?

Thanks Klaus

Did you check the agents of the first work item are not being passed as
excluded agents of the second work item?

It is not a general task, the possible agents are
determined from RULE. I have assigned the users in
RULE responsibilities. The agent is determined by
plant, if the plant is matched the users assigned will
receive the work items(this is working fine).
the rule is fine for step- but not in step-2.
