Hilhne, is the setting in T77S0 for WORKF ACTIV set to an X ? I am starting
to run out of ideas now.

Have you created an OSS message for this as well ? If not I would think
about doing that.

Cheers
Dave

Thank you Thomas and David,

The Existence Check method is OK. I did an event trace and function module
HR_EVENT_CREATE is not being called... how can we fix that?

Thanks!

Helene,

Everything looks good so far. Dave is right, try to debug.

Some other thoughts are:

Can you test the Business object using the position number you have created?
Does it have any problems when you instantiate (ExistenceCheck method)?

When you say 'create new Planned Position' does this mean the planned status
is '2' for planned?

Create position with another transaction (PO13) and see if event is raised.

Structural authorizations?

Tom

Helene, check if the function module HR_EVENT_CREATE is called (dialog or

Hi Thomas, here is the information:

Entry in Table T779X:
OTYPE:  S
INFTY: 1000
WFOPR:  INS
WFSEQ:  0
BUSOB:  PDOTYPE_S
EVENT: CREATED

Entry in T777IBO:
OTYPE:  S
INFTY: 1000
OBJTYP:  PDOTYPE_S

The event name in the Business object is: ZPDOTYPE_S.CREATED Released
status is: Released Business Object Type and Supertype: have been both
generated successfully Authorization issue: NONE since I have SAP all in
that client. What am I performing to raise the event: I am creating with
transaction PPO3 a new Planned Position (Action OCR1), which creates an
entry in Table HRP1000 (A position of type S and infotype 1000).

Can you think of any reason why the event won't raise?

Thank you so much!

Helene,

Can you cut/paste your T779X entries into this email.

What is your T777IBO entry?

What is the event name in the Business Object? What released status is the
event in?

Generate your Business Object and supertype.

Don't have authorization for PPO3 here, what are you performing to raise the
event? Check SU53 to see if there is an authorization issue.

Regards,
Thomas Maue

Hello all:

Since our upgrade from 4.6 to 4.7, the only way our event gets raised is
through an activity with method create, object PDOTYPE_S from the workflow.

Problem: Since 4.7, the event is no longer being raised from the
transaction PP03 in SAP.

I have revisited all our settings, i.e.:

- We have an entry in Table T777IBO (SWEHR1);
- We have an entry in Table T779X (SWEHR3);
- Transaction OOWFAC is active;
- Object ZPDOTYPE_S is properly delegated;
- The event linkage (SWETYPV) is active;
- We had a look at OSS note 307663;
- All above tables are active;
- SWELS is on.

Yet the event is not being raised through the transaction PP03, at least it
is not showing up in SWEL.
