I am not sure how what you are requesting is different from RSWUWFML -
the original version - as it is only capable of sending emails to
Outlook, not work items as the new RSWUWFML2 does.=20
Perhaps if you could be a bit more descriptive as to why RSWUWFML emails
will not work I can give you a better solution?

Hi Kjetil/Abby,
This is not the problem - the routing mechanism I know. The issue is
that I need to send an e-mail notification (not an executable workitem)
to the approver's Outlook to warn him that there is a workitem in his
Business workplace to action (I know, I know - don't ask me why the
client wants to have it work this way - it is only an interim solution
though...). My problem now is that I don't want to add another step to
each and every workflow to do the send mail step (specifically as there
are a couple of SAP standard workflows inbetween). SO, what I need to
know if there is a way outside the actual workflow that is being
executed, to pick up that a dialog step has been sent to a user, and
then from there trigger the send mail (text message) to the user.

Standard solution rswuwfml2 (or rswuwfml) unless you want something
special which you haven't quite explained.
There is information about it at SAP Service Marketplace and should be
previous messages in the archive - including Alan's original "Just
released: New version..." message which has a link to more information

Hi all,
is there a way to send an e-mail from SAP to Outlook everytime a
workitem is sent to a user's Business workplace WITHOUT building in the
send mail step in each workflow - some or other higher level mechanism
outside the actual workflow or task?
Any input will be appreciated.
