Hi Dave, after I posted the message I realized that the transaction
corresponding to table T779X is SWEHR3 and not 2. I already created it
through the transaction SWEHR3 and then I went to see the table T779X =
and my
entry was added. Is this OK?

Helene, don't use SWEHR2 as that contains the SAP data from table T779W, =
use
SM30 and maintain the customer data range in T779X. Reason being after =
an
upgrade your entries via SWEHR2 might not be there again !!
Cheers
Dave

Thank you so much Dave!
>From the time I posted the message, I noticed that the positions I =
created
were saved in table HRP1000 so I suspected I had to use infotype 1000 =
with
INS and created. I will get to it with transaction SWEHR2. Nice to =
know I
wasn't completely in left field... still a long way to go but this is a
very good start.
Thanks again!

Hello Helene,
One way to create the event for PP03 is to insert an entry in table =
T779X as
follows:
S Position 1000 Object Object INS =
0
PDOTYPE_S CREATED
This assumes you have created a subtype for the PDOTYPE_S business =
object
and the event 'CREATED'.
Then when PP03 creates a position the event 'CREATED' will be triggered.
Cheers
Dave

Subject: Business Object for transaction PP03
Hello all!
My first question is, would anyone know the Business Object for =
Transaction
PP03 in SAP - Action: OCR1 "Create New position to be Classified"?
Background: This will be one of the steps in a Staffing Workflow, which =
I
am trying to implement. Other steps in this workflow would be with
actions: OCR2; OCR3; OCR4 etc. I created a position, look in SWEL but =
no
event was raised. I talked to our HR people, and according to them,
transaction PP03 in not saved in a specific infotype.
My other question is, would you happen to know if there is an SAP =
delivered
workflow for creating a position with transaction PP03?
Background: I found SAP delivered workflows for staffing position with
object PDOTYPE_SH, but this is before we staff them, this is to create =
the
position.
Any comments to point me in the right direction or to shade some light =
would
be greatly appreciated.
Thank you very much!
PS: we are on 4.6c.
