Mail message

Dear all

When leave is created a mail message is sent to the approver and if
there are additional comments from the leave request they are included
in the message with a standard text eg.
 
The request included the following comments:
 
 "Leave comments"

The problem I am having is the "leave comments" are incorrect in the
message
 
they come out like this

eave comments"
 
=20
 
I have checked Object instance and the attribute has the correct
formatting just not in the mail message.
 
Any one had this type of problem before

I am using 4.6c
