Workitem does not execute.

I made the subworkflow a general task. Basically all I am doing with this
workflow is creating an
attachment and emailing a rejection email to the workflow initiator. I can
assign an agent if thats the problem
and change the attributes of the subworkflow.

Let me ask my question in a different way.
 
How are you doing your agent assignment in the Selfitem-note_create step?
Is
it the same as the prior step or does it require the executing agent from
the that step. You may need to send it to the sub-workflow via the
container. Also, does your agent assignment require other data that you
need
to pass to the sub-workflow?

All,
I am using a subworkflow to create an attachment using the object
Selfitem-note_create. The workitem should
execute automatically prompting the user to create an attachment but it
instead goes to my workflow inbox. When I
execute from the workflow inbox it executes successfully and the workflow
completes. This object selfitem-note_create
is an synchronous object and is running in the foreground. Can anyone tell
me how I can trouble shoot this problem ?
